Words you’ve polished. Sentences so beautiful, they roll off your tongue like an exotic melody. 📝🎶💖 As Sir Arthur Quiller-Couch put it,
“Whenever you feel an impulse to perpetrate a piece of exceptionally fine writing, obey it—whole-heartedly—and delete it before sending your manuscript to press. Murder your darlings.”
Sometimes, you have to let go of something you like to make room for something you love. I'm getting better at this.
